My Top 23 Favourite Workout Songs

favourite country workout songs

Good tunes make a huge difference to my motivation, mood and energy when working out.

This list may be a little different to most people’s. It consists mainly of country music! Not everyone likes to workout to doof-doof dance music. I love the way country music makes me feel: happy, optimistic and excited for life! I hope you enjoy these feel-good, uplifting tunes. If you used to go to my freestyle spin classes you may recognise a lot of these :). These songs are in no particular order:

  1. Gonna B Good by Keith Urban
  2. Heart Hypnotic by Delta Goodrem
  3. Throw your hands up (Dancar Kuduro) by Qwote
  4. No Apologies by Bon Jovi
  5. Don’t Worry Be Happy by Guy Sebastian
  6. Fake ID (feat. Gretchan Wilson) by Big and Rich (song from Footloose)
  7. Somewhere In My Car by Keith Urban
  8. Even The Stars Fall 4 U by Keith Urban
  9. Land Downunder by Men at Work
  10. Something More by Sugarland
  11. Country Girl (Shake it for Me) by Luke Bryan

I go in and out of being a country music fan, but I’ve never tried listening to it while running. (I’m a doof-doof dance music gal mostly) but could sure use some uplifting tunes going in my ears! đŸ˜‰

There’s heaps of country music that I think really suits running but maybe I’m just weird lol
You’ll have to listen to some of the songs on pandora or YouTube and see if you like any of them!
