I like to have this smoothie on a really hot day or after a workout. It’s beautifully refreshing and tastes absolutely delicious – it’s like dessert in a glass! Thanks to the banana and maca powder, it’s quite energising, too.
If you don’t want to buy powdered peanut butter (available from iherb.com), you can use a tablespoon of normal peanut butter. (Just be aware that this will increase the energy content of this drink by quite a lot!)
Serves 1
Ingredients
250ml almond milk
1 tray / 50g ice
1 large / 100g frozen banana
2 tbs powdered peanut butter
1 tsp maca powder
1 scoop / 30g vanilla whey protein powder
Method
- Place all ingredients into your blender and blend on high speed for 1 minute and 30 seconds.
If you give it a try and post a pic on instagram, please tag me @eatmovelivewell and #eatmovelivewell so I can see it!
Yum! Enjoy!
