This is just like a protein shake without the liquid! I ate it almost every day as either my morning or afternoon snack when I was preparing for my fitness competition. It’s much better than chicken and broccoli! Anyone I have ever made this for has loved it. I hope you do, too!

Serves 1


15g macadamia nuts
120g frozen banana, broken into chunks
30g vanilla protein powder (I use Bare Blends WPI)
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
70g frozen blueberries


  1. Weigh the macadamia nuts into the bowl, and blend 12 seconds/speed 9 into nut butter. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
  2. Add the frozen banana, protein powder and cinnamon. Blend 10 seconds/speed 9. Scrape down sides and re-blend  5 seconds/speed 8. Scrape down sides of bowl.
  3. Weigh in the blueberries and mix on reverse, 3 seconds/speed 2.
  4. Serve immediately.
