Here is a list of all the websites, social media accounts, books and podcasts I like to follow. These help me to be educated, motivated and inspired to live a fit, happy and healthy life.
Some may be judgemental towards a Christian woman pursuing fitness, saying it’s selfish, superficial or not important. However I disagree and here’s why. In the same way that it’s ok for a Christian to want to make their house look stylish, make their garden beautiful, keep their car clean and in good condition or wear makeup and colour their hair, I believe it is ok for a Christian woman to want to look good in their swimsuit. The only two reasons I think there is a problem is if your motives
36 weeks pregnant here
It’s less than three weeks until my due date! Eek very exciting times! I can’t wait to hold my baby. I can’t wait to dress my baby in all the cute tiny clothes I have for it! I can’t wait to find out if it’s a boy or a girl. I can’t wait to go for walks with the pram. And I can’t wait to not be pregnant anymore. But first, I have to get through labour. A vision board is a visual representation of what you’re aiming for in life. Your goals, your dreams, who you want to be, what you want to have, what you’re working towards and what sort of life you want to live. I really enjoy how taking the time to make a vision board gives you an opportunity to think deeply about these things. For today’s post we are privileged to have Chelsey from Chelsey Rose Health share with us about the importance and power of having a positive mindset.

I’m way too interested in space, probably too optimistic and probably just like you. Riding the waves of life in my twenties, dealing with jobs, relationships, and emotions while trying to juggle a healthy and fit

They may be helping
I know so many girls and women who are incredibly dedicated to living a healthy lifestyle. They read blogs, listen to podcasts, buy books and go to presentations to learn all they can about the best way to eat and exercise. They are constantly in their kitchen cooking healthy food, scheduling time to workout every week and carrying around their BPA-free bottles with them everywhere they go.
Despite this, at times they can still hear the voice saying, ‘I’m not good enough’.
Are you familiar with any of these thoughts? I should
You know what I think is harder than the challenge of preparing for a fitness modelling competition? Maintaining a ‘bikini body’* in which you feel and look your best month after month, year after year.
I apologise for being very late with my New Year’s Resolution post! My excuse is I’ve been on a snowboarding trip with my hubby in Europe. The good thing about that in terms of my New Year’s resolutions, however, is that I’ve had a lot of time to think about them. So, here they are. You’ll notice I have a plan after each resolution. I really see a New Year’s resolution as a long term
